Take Consistent Action

Aug 5, 2016

You need to take action to succeed. To be specific, consistent action sets apart those entrepreneurs who make it, and those who don’t.

My car overheated on the highway today.

I had to get it towed, and wasted pretty much the day waiting for the tow-truck, and my turn at the workshop.

One of the things that was foremost on my mind was sending this article out. Friday’s are usually tight for me. Kids back early from school, which means having to get lunch ready. We’re having some friends come over for dinner which means having to get all that food prepped.  But I’ve got to get that article out!

But isn’t it all fun and games?

‘Why?’, you might ask, since the DigiMax Life is all about time and financial freedom.

Well, as I’m sure you’ve heard me say many times before, the digital lifestyle is about time and financial freedom, but it is also about running your business. If you hope to do nothing and just reap the rewards, then let me just be blunt and say that it’s not going to happen.

If you treat it as a hobby, it’s going to be just that, an expensive hobby. But if you run it like a business, then I can tell you that the time and financial freedom is priceless.

This incident also brought to mind the Marketing article I published on Tuesday, on Trust, and how one of the ingredients is being consistent. And if I have a Friday mindset/entrepreneurship article, it absolutely must go out… on Friday.

But beyond that. One of the great contributors to your success as an entrepreneur is the action you take. We all know that you can’t not take action, or keep doing the same thing (like going to that same old job) and hope to get results. But beyond that, success requires you to take consistent action. You can’t just do things once or whenever you feel like it. You need to do the things that bring you success, daily. To help you with this, The Six Figure Mentors provides a template and coaching on ‘things that successful leaders do daily’.  Taking consistent action, truly sets apart eh entrepreneur who succeed from every body else.
