Micro camera – The mini camera.
The size of the micro camera is getting smaller day by day. There are cameras today which are just undetectable. The micro cameras are also known as “spy gadgets. This particular name is given to them by its size as they can be put on a button or a cap or even a pen. Press reporters usually have micro cameras inside their bags and can record or capture images where a normal camera is not allowed to go. The uses of these cameras are increasing. Not only it’s for special purposes but it has also become a fashion symbol. Many people especially the younger general use it for fun. For spying, for recording peoples special acts. Of course like everything, micro cameras are also misused. Many people use it for blackmailing others. As micro cameras are more credible than voice recorders people often are forced to meet the black mailers demands. Often intimate moments of people are recorded from hotel rooms and then sold online or on cassettes and Cds. The features of this complicated yet masterful instrument are low light cameras, high resolution mega pixels, its tiny package, the discreet operation and most importantly the long battery life.
The work of the police department has also been made easy. One of the police departments said that if the use of these micro cameras are made common and are allowed to place in public areas, then they would have all the evidence they need to make a strong case.
We can take the example of misusage of video camera when a person was caught making a sex tape with his girlfriend through a micro camera placed in a light and later caught selling it. Also a man was accused of filming a woman while in the toilet by using the micro camera in the air conditioner. If we take the example of use of the cameras we can see the open case of the death of the Pakistan cricket team coach Bob Woolmer who was killed during the world cup in Jamaica. Many suspects were interviewed due to the camera place outside the elevators. Hence micro cameras if used positively are a great help but if they are used negatively, it can be of great harm to the people and to the society.
