Olympus – Very much liked by people.

A camera is a device or a product used for capturing images or photographs. Camera is an object from which an image or a scene can be viewed, recorded and saved. These saved items can be developed on papers by the recording 35 mm films or can be saved on memory cards and then be transferred into a computer.

In 1919 the foundation of the company Olympus was made under the name of Takachiho Seiskusho. Microscope was the first optical product made by the company in 1920. The name Olympus was used mainly for optical products. The first Olympus camera was the Zuiko 75 mm / F4.5 l lens.

The very first Olympus camera was the 120 roll film camera, the Semi Olympus I. After this the Semi- Olympus II was made which was a complete Olympus product with the requirements of a complete camera.

After these, the Olympus Standard was made which was a 127 roll film camera but it never got to the market due to war and only 10 prototypes were made. However this was a much modern version with standard lens. After that Olympus has been successfully making cameras, which have been widely liked and appreciated by people.

Video cameras and consumer digital cameras were already available in the 80s and 90s but they could only be used for web publishing or low resolution prints. This changed in the mid of the 90s. Technology improved and the first Olympus digital camera made was the P & S style camera in 1996. They had highest resolution and had excellent pixels so that the picture developed was the format of a shining postcard. In 1998, things became more interesting with the zoom lens reflex model. This was the C-1400 camera. It had a 1 mega pixel camera and the results at that time were excellent. The next achievement of Olympus was the 2 mega pixel camera model, the C-2500 L in 1999.

In 2000, with the dawn of the new millennium Olympus launched the 3.34 mega pixel camera which has the photo quality as good as for printing on an A4 paper. Like every machine cameras too have problems and for that purpose the Olympus repair centers are made. They have all the required tools to repair a camera and even have spare Olympus camera parts for devices which need to be replaced. We see that the technology and the products that Olympus made and maintained over the years are just marvelous.
